»»View BiographyPhilippe Dubois, Ph.D. in sciences, is director of the National Composite Center of Luxembourg NCC-L and head of SUSMAT research unit at LIST (Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology). He is professor at the Faculty of Science, Technology and Communication (FSTC) of University of Luxembourg (Uni.Lu). In extended leave from 2016, he is full professor at University of Mons (UMONS, Belgium) and director of the Center of Innovation and Research in Materials & Polymers. Prof. Dubois is Scientific Director at Materia Nova ASBL Research Center in Mons and Past-President of the Belgian Royal Chemical Society. His expertise covers organic chemistry, macromolecular chemistry, catalysis in polymer materials, melt (reactive) processing/engineering of nanocomposite and nanohybrid materials, incl. biodegradable and biosourced polymers. He is currently adjunct professor at the Chemical Engineering Faculty, Michigan State University, MSU, Lansing (US), and guest professor at the National Key-lab of Chemical Engineering, Zhejiang University, Hangzhou, China. He has published +630 peer-reviewed scientific articles, 8 books and scientific special journal issues, and 30 book chapters, (h index: 73: overall citations > 24500) and is inventor of 66 patents. He is member of the editorial board of 18 international scientific journals in the field of polymer chemistry and materials science. Among them, he is associate editor of Materials Science and Engineering: R: Reports edited by Elsevier ((5-year Impact Factor of 20.224). Since 2014, he is founding member and associate editor of Nanocomposites, a new journal by Maney Publishing. He is laureate of the FNRS Quinquennal Award in applied exact sciences (2011-2015), the highest scientific award delivered every five years by the Belgium FNRS and personally awarded by King Philippe of Belgium. Ph. Dubois is elected titular member of the Royal Academy of Sciences, Belgium.

»»View BiographyProf.Dr.A.Abdelghani is a Full Professor at the National Institute of Applied Science and Technology (INSAT, Tunisia) working mainly in the field of Microsensors and Microsystems. He obtained the master degrees in 'Microelectronic Devices' at the INSA of Lyon (France) in 1994, then a Ph.D thesis from Ecole Centrale of Lyon (France) in 1997. He obtained a post-doc position in Germany between 1997-2000. He obtained the Habilitation in Physics in Tunisia (faculty of Science of Tunis) in 2004 and a Habilitation (worlwide recognition for conducting and leading research) in 'Sciences pour l�Ing�nieur' in 2009 at the Ecole Normale Superieur de Cachan (France). He organized three International Conferences in Tunisia in the Field of Nanotechnology (2009, 2012 and 2014) with the Alexander Von Humboldt Foundation (Germany). He is now the leader and principal investigator of a research group working mainly on gas sensors based on functionalized carbon nanotubes (metallic oxides, nanowires, nanoneedles, polymers) and on the development of interdigitated gold microelectrodes integrated in microfluidic cell for bacteria analysis in biologic medium. He published more than 87 papers in International Journals and supervised more than 12 Ph.D thesis and 30 masters student. Prof. Abdelghani is part of worldwide renowned scientists as editorial member of several peer-reviewed scientific journals. He was a coordinator of several international projects and invited as keynote speaker several times in International Conferences. . He is deeply involved in industrial applications in his field of research with implications for the design and the development of affordable and cost-effective sensing devices for diagnostics and theranostics which will have an effective impact in the developing countries. Pr.A.Abdelghani received the Tunisian President Award of the best Scientific Researcher in 22 July 2015.

»»View BiographyProfessor Hanafi did his PhD from Loughborough University of Technology (UK). His research includes polymer recycling, biodegradable polymer, thermoplastic elastomers (TPEs) and rubber/rubber blends. He won many awards, including Khwarizmi International Award 2000 from Iran, APCTT (Asia Pacific) 2000 International Award, ISESCO Prize in Science & Technology 2001, in UAE. In 2005, he won Gold Medal at the International Trade Fair IENA 2005, Nuremberg, Germany. In 2007, he won Gold Medal with special mention by jury at the 56th World Exhibition of Innovation, Research and New Technologies at Brussel, Belgium. In 2010, he won Gold Medal, Double Gold and Special Award from Russia at British Invention Show (BIS 2010), London and Gold Medal at Seoul International Invention Fair. In 2011, he won Gold Medal and Grand Eco Award Prize at International Trade Fair, Ideas, Inventions and New Products in Nuremberg, Germany. In 2012, Professor Hanafi won KIWIE Prize and Thailand Special Award at Korea International Women's Invention Exposition (KIWIE 2012). In 2013, Professor Hanafi won gold medal at 6th International Invention Fair in the Middle East (IIFME), Kuwait. In 2014, Professor Hanafi won Gold Medal and Special Award at World Exhibition of Innovation, Research and New Technologies at Brussel, Belgium. Professor Hanafi has published more than 400 research papers in various polymer ISI international journals and currently one of the Editorial Board for Polymer Plastic Technology & Engineering (Marcel Dekker), Research Journal of Environmental and Earth Sciences (Maxwell Science), Iranian Polymer Journal (Springer), Central European Journal of Engineering (Springer), Journal of Composites and Biodegradable Polymers (Sawy Publishers) and J of Vinyl and Additive Technology (Wiley). Prof. Hanafi is Fellow of Academy Science of Malaysia dan Top Malaysian Scientist 2012. Prof. Hanafi h-Index in Google Scholar is 45 and in Scopus is 39 with Total Citation Index, 8,726 and 6,562 respectively until Jan 2016
